Do I have to consider myself a Christian to sign up for your coaching?
Absolutely not! But that said, I do ask that you at least be open and willing to consider that God is madly in love with you and has a unique, amazing plan for your life. And, be aware that much of the coaching approach is based on principles from the Holy Bible.
Will anything discussed in my session be shared with others?
Everything we discuss will be kept in the strictest confidence, except for situations in which there is a legal mandate to report something. (Example: If you are a danger to yourself or others.)
How much do you charge per session?
The standard charge is $75 for a 45 minute session. Discounts are available (20%) for pastors and veterans. A sliding-scale approach is available for those on a low/fixed income. Referral credits can also be applied, and there are package deals available as well.
Will sessions be a Zoom meeting or by phone?
I much prefer video conference (Zoom, Signal, or similar), but we can do whatever makes you the most comfortable.
I feel like I have been judged by Christians before. Will I be judged by you?
Not at all. Our sessions are a safe zone, completely judgment-free. True love does not condemn. True love also does not sit back and leave someone in destructive behavior patterns. Destructive outward behavior is simply a reflection of inner turmoil. I do not judge the fruit (the what), I minister to the root (the why).
How much outside time will I be expected to put in?
Outside time depends on your individual situation, but generally speaking, it is an average of 15-20 minutes per day (or around 2 hours a week).
How long is each session?
Most sessions are 45 minutes long. I am absolutely willing to make exceptions if there is a unique situation that warrants it.
Are the coaching fees refundable?
The fees are non-refundable. We suggest you start with the free session, then pay per-session, then move to a package-plan (less per session) when you know you are ready for that commitment.
